Trisha’s Diet Blog Day 4 – Swimming off the Pounds…

It was such a beautiful day out and I figured I'd get some sun! Well, I also love to swim but I was like I don't want to swim because I'll be too tired to work out - then my sis was like um, Trish, that is a workout.
Which she is soooooooooooooo right...
I can't even believe it. I was like I could swim all day! And its funnnn and you can take breaks and you get sun and its sooooo California, right? Have to take advantage of all the perks LA has to offer! Also, like I said - I really am sooo not a good swimmer, I can but I look funnii doing it - so I do love to run in the water - waaaay easier than running on a treadmill - it feels like you're not even exercising.
Oh and the best part?
No sweat. I hate sweating -yuk! ha.
So yeah - luckily I have the pool all year round, but if you live somewhere that you can't be getting your fish on during the winter (um hello I grew up in the midwest) - try like rec centers or even the local schools...I don't know.
Basically, I am just trying to find what works for me. If you couldn't already tell by now, I am not really the conventional type and I get sooo bored sooo easily (total ADD) - so trying to switch it up.
Not a fitness or nutrition expert but I am feeling soooooooooooo great! Just after 4 days!!! It's soooo crazzzzy, I have so much energy!!!
Oh - and another tip - I've been sleeping about 7-8 hours, I used to be able to sleep 9-10 -but I've found sleeping more actually makes you more tired...but 7-8 seems to give me the perfect amount of energy for the day...just a thought, something to try!
I'll be soooo ready for weigh-in next week!

The point of swimming, right? To burn those calories! Ha.
And yeah, I totally agree about the sleep thing. I feel real sluggish if I sleep
For too long, and I feel like I’m wasting the day lol. When I wake up early I feel
Motivated to go and workout straight away and then coz it’s early, there’s more time for fun!!

just keep the towel by the pool – so you de-robe and run in and then run out super quick and wrap up – that’s what I do…until you feel comfortable strutting…
and honestly – I think you’re probably like me (and a lot of other people) – waaay too hard on yourself, no one really notices anyways – I know I never do…everyone’s got their own thing going on!

Now thats the definition of a fun way to exercise. I love the water, being in it, on it, just around it is a great way to spend a day to me. May have somethin to do with my myspace s/n bein “LaughingFish” lol
Did u know there’s alot of stuff u can buy just for exercising in a pool? I don’t know how good any of it is, never tried em, but I’ve seen all kinds of stuff for the pool.
There’s one it’s for jogging in the water lol. It’s like a belt u wear that keeps u bout should deep, and weights for ur arms and legs so u can jog floating around in the deep end lol. (I’ve been tempted to buy it a few times lol)

today – I just put my sis on my back and used her as my personal weight while I was jogging – haha…but definitely will be looking into that!
