ohmygoodness, y'all, I was really out of breath by that second flight of stairs - not good.
But it's okay because that is EXACTLY why I am making this change.
I only had like 30 minutes at the gym so I decided to just do cardio and light weights which isn't a lot but well, better than nothing.
So when I was coming home - waiting soooo long for the elevator - I was like wait, I can even get more cardio in by taking the steps up...and that is exactly what I did. Its a tip that I have not been given but felt I should share because really this can apply to anywhere you are at - like the airport, the mall, amusement parks, parking garages...which is all I am going to be doing from now on!
Oh - and I weighed in at 187 today!!! I was sooo strict yesterday with only lean protein and vegetables - and I did about an hour cardio. But I won't weigh myself until next Wednesday (a week from when I started) because I know I can't possibly lose EVERYDAY...so I just don't want to get discouraged!
Thanks again for all your tips and advice - I will be trying them all (well except for the ones I can't do...like not eating) haha.

Yeah, the stair idea is GREAT, I never even thought of that!! I’m also on track so far,

Mall in heels, surely that counts?! Lol

haha. or just each other – I’ve been doing quite a bit of research mixed with some recipes from the last season of Biggest Loser.
Yesterday – I was super strict. Had a about 6 egg whites throughout the day, some chicken and green beans, and jelloooo! its sooo yummmii and no carbs. Yesterday was a no carb day really (or very few) but I’m more about monitoring the calories…you know??? I don’t want to feel deprived or restricted for the rest of my life. Ha.

and ommmmg. I have been meaning to do a makeup “how-to”…I’m trying to learn how to like fast forward through the video – cause it is soooooo long. I really need to invest some sort of editing system. ha….but I will!!!!!!!!! maybe one day, I’ll do eyes, then another day face, another day lips and so on…break it up.ha

That’s the perfect example of how to stay healthy. It’s the simple and fun things that are gonna make a difference. Simple like taking the stairs, parking further from a store you’re walking into and just lil things like that. And fun like taking a walk or jog around the park, playin tennis, or paddling a canoe. Shoot even playing the Wii can be a great way to exercise.
I have cystic fibrosis so keeping myself health is important, but I’ve never been able to handle a gym or workout routine. So that how I manage, keep it fun, simple and things you wouldn’t even consider to be a workout, and you won’t even notice how much you’ve done, till you notice the results
Again you look beautiful and I really enjoy your site.

Parking lots are a big one too…don’t always look for thee closest spot…this always feels good coming out of the gym and walking a ways to the car.
Also, so you don’t get bored…mix it up w/ classes that are in your gym…the bike classes really do wonders for the tush…and yoga is great for the midsection, flexibility, & relaxation!

Yesterday, for breakfast I had a slice of brown bread with a tiny bit of
Peanut butter and a banana, it was yummy and I think it was low in calories.
I’m trying to think of fun cardio to do… I have a trampoline in my back yard
