okay -
so I really need to blog more first off…and vlog more for that matter -
but this was just REALLY exxxciting to me – I had to share!!!
Late last year, I was soooooooo honored to work with this wonderful video artist, Michele O’Marah on her project “A Girl’s Gotta Do What a Girl’s Gotta Do” which essentially recreated some of the most infamous scenes to one of THE best films of all time, “Barb Wire” starring my girl, Ms. Pamela Anderson 
so as soon as I heard that they were looking for actresses to participate – I jumped on it so fast and was so lucky to not only nab one of the barb roles but got to be in THE best scene of the movie, the intro where I got to dance naked, busting out of latex, with water being sprayed all over me…and of course getting to stick it to the guys who just have to be assholes and can’t appreciate the woman’s body without being rude – death by stilleto as the scene plays out….
SO -
early this year the show opened in chinatown near downtown LA through the Kathryn Brennan Gallery and it was really cool to see the whole display and all the works come together with all the videos playing on the walls
really still to this date, one of my FAVORITE projects to be apart of...its like when you're a little kid and dream of being a superhero or a ballerina...I wanted to be Barb (true story) - so really getting to live that, in a sense, was so much funnnn and soooo liberating (which is really the whole context of the film, the show, and the art)
NOW!!!!!!!!!!
a little less than a year later the show is going to New York!! It will be showing at the Brennan & Griffin gallery starting October 17!!! As soon as their website is launched, you know I'll give all you east coasters the DEETS!! I really hope y'all can check it out, all the work is seen exclusively at this gallery, so you do NOT want to miss it....heck I don't want to miss it!!!!!!
