I’ve just spent the last hour giggling at your videos. Even though I had always considered myself non-judgemental, until recently I think if i had seen you on the street (or in this case on youtube) I would have rolled my eyes and made a “grow up/she’s so fake/is that much pink/bling/blonde really necessary…” kind of comment to myself. But I’ve recently been made aware of all the small labels and preconceived ideas we put on people and objects, and how this inhibits our ability to truly experience life by blocking our awareness (the “seer” or “soul”) from seeing. I most likely have the pre-conceived ideas of you because of my own past experiences with people who dress/speak/etc like you. But my past influences have no effect on you… so what is the point of pre-conceived ideas??!!
I have no idea if you (of anyone else) will read (or understand) this, but I wanted to share my “ah-ha” moment. The most recent book I’ve been reading is “The Way of The Wizard” by Deepak Chopra. Letting go of labels and looking at each thing with innocents is one of the lessons. It’s taking some practice and conscious effort to let it go – but MY GOODNESS the would looks different through these new eyes!
